Welcome to the National Advanced School of Maritime and Ocean Science and Technology (NASMOST), a pioneering institution of the University of Ebolowa, located in Kribi. Established by Decree No. 2022/009 of January 6, 2022, NASMOST is Cameroon’s only higher education institution dedicated to training engineers and senior professionals in maritime and paramaritime fields.
The oceans cover over 70% of the Earth’s surface and host a vast array of activities, including fishing, shipbuilding, maritime transport, oceanography, energy production, and port industries. The maritime sector is a cornerstone of the global economy and a powerful driver of economic development and job creation.
NASMOST is strategically located in Kribi, a key urban center in Cameroon with direct access to the Atlantic Ocean. As the capital of the Ocean Department in the South Region, Kribi is home to a deep-water port, a critical component of the industrial-port complex currently under construction. This unique setting provides an ideal environment for the development of maritime and paramaritime activities, aligning perfectly with our mission to train the next generation of maritime professionals.
